We have models for every camera
size from the smallest MiniDV to
the largest broadcast cameras.
MiniDV cameras including:
- All consumer models
- Canon XL1XL2/GL!/GL2
- Sony PD150/170/Z!/FX1/VX2100
- Panasonic DVX100/HVX 200
- JVC 100/110/250 etc.
Can be used with all of our
prompters. Large broadcast
cameras like Sony D35/50,
Ikegami, Panasonic can be
used with the Broadcast 15/17,
Convertible 10 and the Universal 15/17.
You will need a PC (XP/Vista)
or Mac OSX (Intel) to run the
prompter software.
The best choice is a laptop
because it has the attached
LCD screen PLUS a secondary
VGA port to run the teleprompter
LCD. You can also use a
desktop computer with a dual
head card. Desktops without a
dual head card may require
an accessory.
You can choose to register the
software on your computer or
order it on a USB flashdrive.
The USB flashdrive option
allows you to simply insert
the flashdrive into any
computer and run
the software.
All of our teleprompters are
ready to prompt right out of the
box. They include all of the
prompting hardware and
software necessary.
You need to supply the following:
- Camera
- Tripod to support camera/prompter*
- PC or Mac computer to run software
*Our Universal prompter doesn’t
need a tripod to support the
teleprompter.
- it comes with it’s own stand. Our
live event Presidential prompter
does not require a tripod either.
