Though many users control their teleprompter speed through a laptop, some will want a controller - especially users who don't have a 2nd person available to control the speed. We offer a range of very cost effective wired and wireless controllers. These are not included with the teleprompter as standard. Configurable Options not all options are available for all combinations for example you can't select a trapezoidal beamsplitter with a 10.4" monitor
Monitor Size Select the monitor size based on the maximum distance away that someone with good eyesight will need to read the Teleprompter. Monitor Type Our standard monitor for all Flex series sizes offers just VGA input, this is all that is required with our software. The 10.4" Model comes with VGA & Composite. Other options are: • Composite & VGA Monitor. Composite is not required by our software, but you may want it for other uses. • Reversing Monitor - Required for some 3rd party software (not required for Flip-Q). • High Brightness Monitor - For Outdoor use, not recommended for indoor use. BeamSplitter Style (the Mirror): Rectangular or Trapezoidal • Our Standard BeamSplitter is rectangular as most users do not have multiple talent on one teleprompter, thus a cost saving can be achieved in the beamsplitter shape. Rectangular costs less, but is less suited for multiple talent. • Flex Studio - Our Trapezoidal Beamsplitter costs a little more, however this is more suitable for multiple talent reading the script due to an improved off-axis viewing angle. BeamSplitter Material (the Mirror) Each teleprompter comes with high quality glass • Glass doesn't scratch easily, but does break easier.

Also Available - A Freestanding version of this teleprompter Most users purchase the standard style. • With the Standard Style, your teleprompter is mounted directly to your camera and it's tripod. You should ensure your tripod can handle the additional load of our teleprompter, however our units are light and will work out of the box with most people's tripods. We do offer Tripods if you would rather upgrade. • The Freestanding Style comes with it's own stand, and is popular with people who may need to rapidly remove the camera for separate teleprompter free shooting. You simply place the freestanding teleprompter assembly directly in front of your camera/tripod. Panning your camera is not feasible while using this style of teleprompter. We have models for every camera size from the smallest MiniDV to the largest broadcast cameras. MiniDV cameras including: - All consumer models

Can be used with all of our prompters.

Large broadcast cameras like Sony D35/50, Ikegami, Panasonic may also be used with all models.

You will need a PC (XP/Vista/7) or Mac OS/X (Intel) to run the included prompter software.

The included Flip-Q Software (Pro with ProLine, Lite with Flex) includes flipping, so a reversing monitor option is only needed for use with other software.

The best choice is a laptop because it has the attached LCD screen PLUS a secondary VGA port to run the Teleprompter LCD. You can also use a desktop computer with a dual head card. Desktops without a dual head card may require an accessory.

You can choose to register the software on your computer or order it on a USB flash drive (free with the ProLine Series). The USB flash drive option allows you to simply insert the flash drive into any computer and run the software without registering it to that PC.

All of our Teleprompters are ready to prompt right out of the box. They include all of the prompting hardware and software necessary.

Solid aluminium frames assure perfect alignment of the glass. The rigidity of the frames is crucial when doing quick moves or use with a jib.
