Though many users control their teleprompter speed through a laptop, some will want a controller - especially users who don't have a 2nd person available to control the speed. We offer a range of very cost effective wired and wireless controllers. These are not included with the teleprompter as standard. We have models for every camera size from the smallest MiniDV to the largest broadcast cameras. MiniDV cameras including: - All consumer models

- Canon XL1XL2/GL!/GL2
- Sony PD150/170/Z!/FX1/VX2100
- Panasonic DVX100/HVX 200
- JVC 100/110/250 etc.

Can be used with all of our prompters.

Large broadcast cameras like Sony D35/50, Ikegami, Panasonic may also be used with all models, with the exception of the 10.4" versions (Flex-11, ProLine-11); in these cases you must select the ENG option which elongates the sled.

You will need a PC (XP/Vista) or Mac OSX (Intel) to run the included prompter software.

The included Flip-Q Software (Pro with ProLine, Lite with Flex) includes flipping, so a reversing monitor option is only needed for use with other software.

The best choice is a laptop because it has the attached LCD screen PLUS a secondary VGA port to run the Teleprompter LCD. You can also use a desktop computer with a dual head card. Desktops without a dual head card may require an accessory.

You can choose to register the software on your computer or order it on a USB flashdrive. The USB flashdrive option allows you to simply insert the flashdrive into any computer and run the software.

All of our Teleprompters are ready to prompt right out of the box. They include all of the prompting hardware and software necessary.

You need to supply the following: - Camera - Tripod to support camera/prompter*

- PC or Intel Mac computer to run the supplied software

*Our Freestand prompter comes with a stand, but you still need one for your camera.

Our live event Presidential style prompters do not require a tripod as they come with their own stands.

THE PROMPTER PEOPLE DIFFERENCE

The beamsplitter is the key item that will affect your video image. Our HD Ultra Clear Glass uses a high purity glass that assures the sharpest image without distortion.	Solid aluminium frames assure perfect alignment of the glass. The rigidity of the frames is crucial when doing quick moves or use with a jib. Other vendors use flimsy sheet metal frames that wobble and flex.

We include free Flip-Q PC or Mac software which is easy to use and includes all the features needed for professional applications. With thousands of users Flip-Q is field tested for the most demanding applications.	We provide customers with live technical support by video professionals that know video inside and out.
