Presidential 15/17 Overview

The Presidential 15/17 are state of the art presentation prompters. Their unique LCD mounting system allows the display to be placed at floor level for the least noticeable appearance. The display can also be raised halfway up the stand and hidden with the included skirting. In this raised position the viewable image is larger and brighter then when placed at floor level.

The stand has a 20 pound triangular base for virtually
tip-proof operation. The height of the glass can be
raised close to 7 feet with the high quality damped
clutch. The glass clamp is made out of precision machined aluminum and has an infinitely adjustable angle that is set with a simple thumbscrew.

The monitors are high quality 15" and 17" SVGA full
color and accept a standard 15 pin VGA connector. Monitor stands are included so that you can use these monitors as high quality desktop displays when not in use for teleprompting.

The VGA monitors on non-reversing. The
included software reverses the text.
A composite reversing 17" display is
available for an addition $800. This monitor
also provides DVI, SVHS and VGA reversing inputs, 120/220 Volt and is NTSC/PAL.

The Wireless Remote is our most popular option. A receiver plugs into the USB port on your computer. The intuitive wireless handheld unit controls scroll speed, scroll direction, stop/start and cue points within a 50 foot range. The talent can use it to practice, or when taping on tighter shots. PC or Intel Mac compatible only.
REM-KEY

Our solid aluminum wired controller gives precise rotary control over scroll speed and stop/start. It connects to your computer's USB port. A wired controller is preferred by dedicated prompter operators. Mac or PC compatible.
REM-GRF

This heavy duty weighted pedal allows talent to control speed and start/stop the text scroll. The USB interfaced device uses no external electricity so there are no power cords or adapters needed. A sensitivity slider within Flip-Q allows precise control. PC compatible only.

Teleprompter systems with a 15 or 17” monitor come with a 5-foot VGA cable. DV9, DV11 and CNV10 prompters come with an 8-foot VGA cable that plugs into your laptop. If you would like to keep the computer out of the immediate prompting environment, you will need a VGA extension. Our 25-foot HD extension cable is $40. The 50-foot HD extension cable is $70 and must be used with a Distribution Amp (see next item).

There are two uses for this device. It can be used to split the signal between two to four teleprompters from a single PC, or as a signal amplifier if you need to run 35 feet to 200 feet of VGA cable. It has four amplified outputs from one input. Don't forget the extra cable when ordering!
DA-VGA

The included Flip-Q LIte software that comes free with the system reverses the VGA output. The VGA Reverser can be used when you need to display non scrolling text such as PowerPoint slides. The VGA reverser box electronically reverses the entire desktop so that it is readable on the teleprompter mirror. Some specialized applications require hardware reversal of the text. When a reversing monitor isn’t available, this is the answer.

also large enough for a Presidential pair (excluding poles and weights). Size is approximately 31x20x16, 22 lbs. Comes with pick-and-pluck foam so you can customize the case to fit your needs.

Monitor Upgrades

Reversing Composite Monitor: $800 upgrade
In addition to our standard non-reversing monitors, we offer a composite /VGA reversing monitor. This monitor
accepts composite or VGA inputs and flips mirror-imaging electronically with a touch of a button. This allows
for the greatest flexibility for studio installs and is required for MOS compliant newsroom software use.
